We love this part of our program format!! It has been very rewarding! This Program is dedicated to bringing happiness, healing, rehabilitation, and comfort to the people through The Equine-Assisted Therapies & Activities Program, using our beautiful miniature horse, “Star-Struck Marigold!” Marigold has provided smiles, laughter and love, to our assisted-living centers, nursing homes, local elementary schools, and other special groups.

 

    According to the Mayo Clinic, “Animal-assisted therapy can significantly reduce pain, anxiety, depression, and fatigue in people with a range of health problems.” Our goal at Dayspring is to improve the mental, physical, social, and emotional well-being of those who are in need! Our team works tirelessly developing programs that result in meaningful change and we believe that change is what leads step by step into a brighter future.
